Position works with some supervision to maintain high levels customer satisfaction. Examples of responsibilities include: • The Support Analyst will be responsible for answering in-coming phone calls and emails from our customers and logging all activities related to issues in the support problem tracking system, and tracking the issue through to completion. • The Support Analyst works closely with other Support resources to provide solutions to our customers. • The position requires a personable, thoughtful individual with a strong ability for troubleshooting while maintaining customer advocacy. Job Requirements Knowledge/skills: • 4+ years industry experience in technical support, professional services, engineering, or systems engineering. • Strong understanding of Web-related standards, such as PHP, HTTP, HTML, XML, XSLT. • Strong understanding of programming/scripting in C++, Java, Python, Perl, JavaScript, and shell is preferred. • Experience with relational databases (Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, PostGreSQL, SQLServer) is preferred. • Hands-on experience implementing, troubleshooting and supporting Linux/Unix operating system, Internet-based applications, and Database Management Systems. • Familiarity with Linux/Unix system administration skills.
