Your Responsibilities: In this role you will be asked to provide design in support to enable Luxeon based LED designs. Important technical aspects are thermal solutions, optical solutions, driver solutions, LED specific issues need to be considered in the design. Since you will give support to China, around 50% traveling is required for this role. You will be part of the China team and have regular contact with them. Your responsibilities will include: . First line of contact to all technical support for direct customers . Provide guidance and cooperation to distribution channel . Develop and maintain strong business relationship at an operational level enabling successful selling processes of the entire value proposition chain . Assist in business development initiatives in cooperation with strategic marketing and sales field . LED and Lighting consultant to customer's management, marketing and R&D teams . Develop and utilize external network partners to enable and shorten time-to-market cycle of customer projects
Your Profile: . Ability to proactively identify key customer projects and convert them into design wins. . Willingness to take ownership and be accountable for technical issues . Ability to work independently with minimal direction in an unstructured environment. . Capable of solving problems and making decisions with a sense of urgency . Ability to work constructively across multiple organizations and functionalities . Ability to manage multiple projects . Willingness to travel 50% .Familiarity with LEDs .Knowledgeable on optics,drivers,thermal design,electrical and thermal simulations
