Technical Support Representative
General Summary: Our Level 1 Support Representatives will work directly with our customers to provide them with assistance for program specific requirements, computer/hardware, and custom web-based applications. The Support Rep is responsible for providing a high quality of customer service, and technical support. When necessary, the Support Rep will escalate advanced issues, by following documented escalation paths for additional support. As a Successful Level 1 Support Rep you will: - Deliver World Class Customer Service. - Diagnose and resolve inbound/outbound phone calls, e-mail, customer chats, and ticket escalations according to procedure. - Escalate any necessary issues for additional support in a detailed, effective, and timely manner. - Identify call trends and alert management with specific information/data. - Be able to continually change direction and procedure, based on the volume and growth of our core customer base. - Fluency in Spanish and English is required- 2+ years of call center experience required - Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures of PC hardware, software, Internet support, and a wide variety of common retail and enterprise software packages. - Knowledge in firewall, routers, proxies, Internet filtering packages and/or Java required. - Experience in supporting Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. - Experience assisting customers using phone, email, and/or via live online chat. - One to two years of experience in technical/customer support required. - Excellent problem solving and action oriented customer service skills. - Experience supporting novice computer users. - Prior experience with dialer systems
