Technical Support Representative
Title: Technical Support Representative Location: Turkey-Istanbul * · Provide direct post-sales systems technical support to end users and HP Authorized Service Providers. · Provide software service, post-sales or service delivery support and solve applications problems for remote or local accounts, on standard and specialized systems. Maintain high level Customer satisfaction by clarifying Customer needs and ensuring that they are met. · Handle Customer-relation problems promptly and appropriately, escalate issues according to established procedures. · Solve technical problems on an assigned hardware and software platforms. · Use proactive monitoring procedures/tools to identify problem prevention opportunities. . · Provide advanced product support for high-end products.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: · Minimum Diploma/ Associate Degree (Electronics or Computer Sciences) equivalent with 5 years of working experience in related fields, or Degree holder with more than 3 years relevant working experience.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: · Demonstrate knowledge of corporate organization, job, and policies. · Demonstrate advanced knowledge of operating systems and software. · Demonstrate basic skills in project management. · Demonstrate strong communication skills, problem analysis, and presentation skills. · Ability to develop Customer relationships. · Ability to perform while under high-pressure situations. · Ability to work in a team environment. · In depth knowledge / skills on Hardware installation, B/F services and maintenance tasks. · Advanced knowledge / skills on Systems, Servers, Storage Products, Networking products and technologies. · Advanced knowledge on Operating Systems, mainly Unix/Linux and Windows. · Hands on ability for Break / Fix and Installation services.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS No military obligation or at least 3 years postponed B class driving license Ability to travel 75% of the time. At least 2 years professional high school on Electronics / Computer sciences. Very good English (reading, writing, listening, speaking).
