The Technical Support Representative will install, configure, and provide technical support for any hardware, software, network equipment, or any related computer systems.
Specific responsibilities include: * Install, configure, and support Ziegler desktop & laptop computers, software, printers, servers, network switches, routers, and wireless access * Respond to hardware, software, and authority requests following Ziegler's procedures * Troubleshoot and resolve computer, server, and network connectivity problems * Maintain compliance of licensed software * Provide Backup & recovery of systems and data * Maintain security of computer and network systems * Provide remote office support via telephone or travel Experience with the following programs/applications is desired: * Microsoft Windows client & server * Active Directory * Microsoft ISA * Terminal Services/Citrix * VMware ESX * Cisco routers & switch, Cisco wireless, Cisco IP telephony, Cisco ASA Firewall, Cisco ACS * NetApp * Riverbed * LANDesk Qualifications:
* 2-yr degree in related field required * 2+ years in a corporate technical support position is strongly preferred * Technical knowledge of hardware, software and network systems * Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite * Excellent customer service and communication skills
