| Currently we are looking for 10 Technical Support Representative to work in Kanata, Ottawa. This position provides customers with world-class quality technical support via telephone and electronic media. Responsibilities: - Problem isolation and resolution for Customer requests, problems and incidents - Ensure an integrated Call Centre approach (i.e. the end-user will experience a minimum number of call transfers, and efficient resolution) - Ability to establish, maintain and improve customer relationships - Provide customer support by resolving or escalating issues in a timely manner - Attend ongoing training sessions on new products, services or topics, as well as effectively utilize current training resources - Submit or update knowledge articles to ensure all technical support information is up-to-date in the knowledge management tool Requirements: - Minimum 1 year of Customer Service/Technical support experience - Minimum 1 year of Call Centre experience - Able to work 24x7 shifts, as required - Proficient with Microsoft Office 2007 & Microsoft Windows Vista - Strong skills in computer technology, telephone operation, customer support and call handling procedures - Knowledge of remote access and network connectivity, both LAN & WLAN - Efficient troubleshooting knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes is an asset - Familiar working knowledge of exchange servers and remote email access.
