More information about this job: Overview: We seek exceptional, highly organized, bright, and outgoing Technical Support Representatives to serve as the voice of the company to our existing clients. Previous Customer Service experience is required. Our live Support operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 8am until 8pm EDT. We are currently looking for individuals to cover all of our shifts.
Responsibilities: * Handling first-line incoming telephone and e-mail requests from customers regarding products and services * Troubleshooting of IP phone and network problems, escalating difficult issues as needed * Tracking activities through an internal ticket logging system * Working on special projects as assigned to improve a growing department’s quality and efficiency
Qualifications: • Strong organizational and time management skills • Commitment to setting proper expectations for clients, following through as necessary to remain trustworthy • Ability to demonstrate competence in basic PC software and hardware. Cisco and Networking experience is preferred • Ability and personality to put clients at ease in stressful situations • Precise and effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work in a closely-monitored environment where calls are recorded, quality of work is reviewed and evaluated to ensure the highest level of customer support for our clients • Independent thinking and troubleshooting • Ability to work closely with team members to share information and add to the company’s knowledgebase • Enthusiasm and adaptability, able to acquire new skills and knowledge quickly • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent • Previous VoIP experience is an advantage, but is not mandatory
