JOB TITLE: Windows Systems Administrator LOCATION: Honolulu, HI Open POSITIONS: 1 INDUSTRY: Technology WORK SCHEDULE: Monday thru Friday 8:00a.m. to 5p.m. PAY RATE: OPEN DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Our client is currently looking for a Windows Systems Administrator full time position. THIS PERSON WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: - Providing System Administration - Resolving software and hardware problems, working with vendor technical support as needed. - Assisting application owners with software installations, updates, and troubleshooting. - Monitoring and report on server availability and performance. - Must be available for occasional off-hours system maintenance windows, and to participate in on-call rotation for after-hours incident response Only candidates with experience in the following will be considered: - Hardware procurement, installation, and configuration - Windows, Linux Operating System installation and configuration - Storage allocation, host bus adapter configuration, and volume management - Network interface configuration - Printer configurations - Operating System and application patching and upgrades - 5+ years Windows systems administration experience - Experience with VMware server virtualization is required. - Microsoft Certification a plus - Degree preferred Required Skills - Active Directory and windows are the most important -We have about 40 servers and 200 devices.
