In the role of Senior Technical Writer, you will leverage your passion, creativity and content savvy to develop technical documentation, training material, web-based material, forums using various mediums for the new SMB desktops product line created from the award-winning Kaviza VDI-in-a-box.

. Develop and influence technical documentation processes to the team.
. Design, develop, edit, and revise technical content according to established standards.
. Create, update and maintain documentation, training manuals, on-line guides and web-based training materials.
. Create and maintain self-paced training videos and training materials for new products.
. Work with subject-matter experts (SME) to ensure technical accuracy and overall quality of documentation and training.

Qualifications

. Can produce quality documentation with little guidance, under tight deadlines, and with little lead time.
. Clear strength in written and oral communication skills in the English language and ability to articulate complex technical concepts in writing and through effective illustrations and multi-media.
. Proficient with Microsoft Office products, Adobe, HTML, XML, Wiki's, Robo Help etc.
. Experience working on Linux, Windows and Mac OS X operating systems and documenting command-line interfaces.
. Experience with desktop products and virtualization is a plus.
. An out-of-box thinker who is interested in exploring and trying new mediums and approaches to make documentation enticing, effective and easy to use

Requirements
. Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or Engineering
. Experience: 6-8 years as a technical writer in product development organizations
