Desired skills One(1) year of experience in Battle-space Command, Control, Communications Program (BC3) or USAF Control and Reporting Center (CRC) maintenance, support, and sustainment. Military experience. Electronics repair performing preventive maintenance on ATC radio systems and related equipment; inspecting equipment at specified intervals determining operational status; replacing defective components; performing operational checks; maintaining inspection and maintenance records; maintaining Facilities Status Records (e.g.: AFTO 499, 512, 514, etc.); independently verifying operational condition integrated systems to be within prescribed parameters IAW supporting Technical Orders/Manuals or directive (commercial manuals, FAA Orders, etc.).
Specific Job Description Lockheed Space Systems Co is looking for an Field Electronics Technician, with core competency in RF Communications. Successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to apply comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems (i.e., those that cannot be solved by reference to manufacturers' manuals or similar documents) in working electronic equipment. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence and in selecting tools and testing instruments. Typical duties include: Assist in the system administration of Windows and UNIX servers and workstations. Assist in communications support of HF, UHF, VHF and MIDS Radios. Assist in providing data link support on the Joint Range Extension (JRE) gateway and Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI). Technician will also be responsible for installation and maintenance of the BC3 Mobile Training system with the assistance of available unit personnel (set-up/teardown), and provide on-site (various deployed locations) expertise during unit familiarization/refresher training. Position requires extensive travel within and outside of the United States.

Typical Minimums High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned preventive and demand maintenance tasks and 5 Years of experience.
