Overview:
Under general supervision, provides basic on-site diagnosis, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, installation, set up and repair of MST systems. Refers more complex problems to next appropriate level of support or receive direct guidance for their resolution.

Key Accountabilities:
Performs daily repairs to hardware and software.
Supports equipment hardware and software installation and where required, maintains and installs wiring.
Assists in the testing, adjustment and troubleshooting of equipment as necessary.
Keeps management informed on a timely basis of progress, status and/or concerns for each project.
Interfaces with other Field Service personnel, vendors and store personnel in proper operation and support of MST systems.
Uses electronic diagnostic and repair equipment, technical drawings, manufacturer's manuals and other documentation.
Know and follows safe work practices.
May be required to provide after hours support.
Follows established procedures for time and expense recording.
Provides timely response and resolution to assigned problem tickets.
Ability to travel independently within a defined region.
Willingness to acquire and apply new knowledge and skills necessary to support POS, PC, Communication and MST systems.
Skills Summary:
Minimum of two years experience in the repair of electronic equipment including POS, PC's, etc. or equivalent experience.
Problem solving, troubleshooting skills.
Ability to effectively communicate within own group and with store personnel.
Strong customer focus. Sense of urgency and flexible to changing circumstances and customer needs.
Basic knowledge of PC's, and general understanding and use of Windows Operating System, Windows Office products and communication software.
A Certification desirable.
Good communication and organizational skills.
