DESCRIPTION:
Time Warner is in the process of implementing a Global Shared Services Group to provide its business units with Commodity Services like IT Infrastructure and Applications. This role will be critical to developing and operating the Shared Service function specifically around a common HRIS /Payroll platform.
Global Technology Services division of TW (Time Warner Inc.) is looking for a junior level ETL developer to support the Shared Services HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) implementation project team within the Global Technology Services division. This is a full time, permanent position at our Tampa, FL location.
As a junior ETL developer, s/he will be primarily responsible for developing and maintaining software and is accountable for the quality and delivery of business system commitments. This position works under the guidance and direction of Lead ETL developer to ensure that development projects are completed on schedule, within prescribed resource limits, and in accordance with client requirements and departmental standards.
DUTIES/OBJECTIVES:
. Participates in creating detailed design documents that support interface and technical design . Develop data profiling and quality assessment processes . Develop data filtering, transformation and loading requirements . Determine appropriate translations between source data and target databases . Capture metadata as it pertains to sources and targets . Load and transform data from data sources into target databases . Design and implement appropriate error handling procedures . Develop project, documentation and storage standards in conjunction with data architects . Monitor performance, troubleshoot and tune ETL processes as appropriate . Strives to improve technical skills as well as knowledge of business processes.

REQUIREMENTS:
. Minimum of 4 years of IT experiences with at 2 to 3 years experience in the architecture, design and development of ETL programs using Informaticas data integration tools . 2 years experience in related ETL tool (e.g. Business Objects Data Integrator, MS SSIS, Ab Initio, etc.) . Solid experience building SQL queries, including creating sub-queries, minus/union, and inline queries . Knowledge of Data Warehouse principles required . Understanding of database design and programming concepts required . Ability to communicate ideas to both technical and non-technical people in all levels of the organization.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline required
