This position is for a Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) Tier III Consultant.
Job Description
You will be the primary lead in a technical deployment or implementation for HP PPM product. In addition to implementation activities, it is important to also have experience and be able to support requirements gathering, solution development, presentations, demonstrations, RFI/RFP responses and competitive differentiation. The customer base is mainly the Fortune 500 companies. You will develop solutions using HP Software and partner products that integrate with your customer's existing infrastructure to meet their business and technical requirements.
As the primary technical interface with the customer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers' business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers' businesses. As trusted advisor, you will create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to insure customer satisfaction.
Actively contribute to HP's solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects.
You will work with an elite team of Professional Services resources. You will receive formal training as well as mentorship from your peers, and be expected to contribute to the knowledge base as you gain experience. You will be expected to constantly learn and demonstratecompetencies in new technologies, products and solutions. Education and Experience Required:
4 years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (7 years in total).

Knowledge and Skills Required:
-Demonstrated success in a software consulting role (also known as Senior Technical Consultant, Technical Consultant, Principal Consultant, Delivery Consultant) -Work experience with project management methodologies -Working knowledge of Oracle SQL -Demonstrated success in large sales with Fortune 500 customers -Excellent customer communication and presentation skills -Resilience and resourcefulness when solving complex problems -Ability to present solutions persuasively -Excellent team skills -Ability to have a flexible schedule and work from a home office is required -Ability to travel up to 100% of the time is required
Desired: -1 years of technical knowledge and experience in HP PPM, or -1 years of experience with another Project and Portfolio Management tool HP PPM Certification PL/SQL Web Services ITIL Certification
