Temporary Position, 3 - 6 Months
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities include but are not limited to: * Building the sourcing plan. * Driving research in Taleo. * Involvement in selecting and partnering with external research/search firms when needed. * Creating comprehensive source lists for search engagements. * Building a pipeline of talent by conducting aggressive outreach (cold calling). * Qualifying/screening and interviewing prospective candidates. * Authoring candidate analysis/assessments to enable smooth transitions of candidates and high-quality presentations to clients. * Delivering formal and informal candidate referencing. * Providing accurate, real-time tracking of search activity with strong data integrity requirements.
Ideal candidate criteria:
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success developing and executing candidate generation strategies within the aviation industry, with evidence of:
* Establishing, cultivating and maintaining solid working relationships with executive management, hiring managers, external resources and other internal recruiting partners. * Maintaining in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of top executives, companies, and competitive industries, plus have a strong grasp of industry trends, geo\social\political climate and other external factors that affect and impact the talent landscape. * Upholding strict confidentiality about available positions. * Establishing and mentoring others on effective executive search methodology and best practices. * The ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects in a large, fast-paced and complex environment.
Requirements:
* BA/BS degree or equivalent experience plus 10 years of related business experience and minimum of 5 years of executive or corporate recruiting experience. * Expertise in volume hiring and understanding of talent acquisition and its impact on overall business strategy. * Expertise in placing top talent within a technical industry, preferably commercial or business aircraft companies. * Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision. * Cross-group collaboration with exceptional problem-solving abilities * Proven success in building influential relationships with candidates, and experience placing top talent within the aerospace industry, preferably at business aircraft companies. * Ability to understand, articulate, and document a hiring manager's stated requirements, and formulate a clear value proposition that will attract the caliber of candidate we need to meet those requirements. * Proven ability to assess internal and external candidates for skills to perform the role, as well as leadership competencies, culture fit and other compatibility issues that are critical to success. * Understanding of compensation and the ability to analyze compensation packages, present offers, negotiate and close candidates. * Excellent cross-group collaboration skills, ability to influence and consult with executives, and strong people and business acumen are essential. * Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and candidate databases are also needed.
