We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Test Automation Consultant in Fargo, ND. This is a long term contract opportunity. The individual in this role will help implement end-to-end automation and tools strategies, support test automation assessments of client's capabilities, and recommend optimal tool usage. They will apply their knowledge of test automation tools to help drive adoption of test automation across projects as well as continue to build on existing processes, methods and assets.

Test Automation Strategy & Thought Leadership
Knowledge-Sharing around End-to-End Test Automation and Tools Strategies / Roadmaps Support Test Automation Assessments Conduct Tool Analysis, Recommendation, and Selection Knowledge-Sharing around Test Automation Frameworks and Approaches
Test Automation Project Mobilization
Help direct and lead our IT Testers with all actions required to deploy an automated test solution, including mobilization and leading the creation of the automation framework Identify and Analyze Suitable Opportunities for Test Automation Utilize efficient and effective processes and standards in order to continuously improve quality
Application Performance and Load Testing
Knowledge-Sharing around performance and load testing services Leverage industry leading performance and load test tools
Education and experience required for Test Automation Consultant:
Must have experience in the process of building Test Automation Strategy/Processes from the ground up in environments that are made up of Applications on a Unisys and IBM mainframes, JAVA and .NET platforms. Experience with using HP Testing Tools and testing components within Microsoft Visual Studio Application Lifecycle Management tool. Experience with other Testing Tools is also a plus. Experience leading test planning and execution activities, project sizing, test strategy, test data definition, data setup, test execution, defect reporting & communication of status/metrics. Ability to meet travel requirement by working in the home office Monday through Friday 100%.
Demonstrated ability to implement testing best practices into the test planning and execution processes. Experience in full software development life cycle. Proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to do knowledge-sharing on a daily basis and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Ability to interact with internal management team using strong leadership and communication skills. Desire to work in an information systems environment. Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
