Training Manager - DIRECT LABOR
Develops, organizes, and conducts training and educational programs.
- Produce training courseware, operator guides, support and maintenance guides, technical order inputs, and other related technical documentation for AFSOF C2MS
. - Provide training products to include static and interactive training and computer based training materials. Examples include syllabi, student guides, instructor guides, slides, handouts, grade books and sheets, checklists, and other related material.
- Produce and maintain static courseware (Microsoft Office compatible documents (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) in the Office Open XML, HTML, and PDF formats) and dynamic courseware (HTML5 with JavaScript, or Adobe Flash) following AFSOTC standard training formats.
- Produce technical documents to support requirements, information assurance, certification and accreditation, planning, and other processes.
- Produce graphics, illustrations, podcasts, and interactive media that can be used to support engineering projects, technical documentation, software development, training product development, and other support documentation.
- Establishes and reviews course content and objectives.
- Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
- Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness.
- Updates course documentation on a regular basis to ensure timeliness and relevance.
- May provide work leadership for lower level employees, including evaluating the effectiveness of their training presentations and programs.
- Conducts research into new training, educational, and multimedia technologies.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
- Participates in special projects as required.
Qualifications: 8-10 experience at developing static courseware documents and dynamic courseware following Instructional Systems Development (ISD) practices.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, After Effects, Adobe Premiere or experience with open source alternatives such as GIMP, Inkscape, and others
- A t least 3 years of professional Graphic and interactive media development experience or formal education at a graduate/technical school level related program.
- Media developer personnel shall have the ability to develop Adobe Flash, HTML 5 dynamic content, and interactive Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.
