Job Description Seeking a career minded individual to provide services as our Turbine Parts Representative. Our mission is to be our customers' first choice by delivering the right parts, when needed, in the most efficient way.
Specific Job Responsibilities: - Provide parts, when needed, in the most efficient way for Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines and Generators. - Provide support to customers in North and South America in the planning, execution, coordination and control of contractual requirements for economical delivery of large scope orders/programs. - Receive, process, create and follow-up on Quotations for customer requests. This includes identification of parts and providing parts lists to customers. - Project manage multiple customer orders: - Receipt - Order Entry under financial and contractual considerations. - Order Execution including working with different sources - Order Status - Shipment - Invoicing - Post Order Issues - Process repair orders. - Provide international logistic including the creation of all documents to successfully export out of the US and into the destination country. - Manage networking channels (Engineering, Marketing, Supply Management, Factories, Sales, Export Control Compliance, Contracts, Freight Forwarders, etc) to meet customer requirements. - Financial risk management impacts on complex quote and order activities by customer and/or country when determining international logistics; i.e., IncoTerm, Import/Export, Certificates, Banking Documents, etc.)
Required Skills: - Technical degree e.g. Mechanical, Material or Manufacturing. - Understanding of technical configuration and BOM's (Bill of Materials). - Ability to interpret engineering drawings and other technical product documents - Working knowledge of technical information databases and customer equipment records. - Ability to create filtered parts lists. - General understanding of parts / materials.
Preferred Skills: - Prior experience as a Turbine Field Technician/Engineer. - SAP know-how either on the technical or logistics side. - Bilingual, SAP
