L-3 STRATIS has an immediate need to add an experiencedSystems Engineer or Senior Technical Writerto one of our technical teams located inAnnapolis Junction, MD.
Description of Position: As part of the Communication Design and Development (CDAD) team, the Systems Engineer or Senior Technical Writer will be responsible for preparing, reviewing and maintaining technical and non-technical documentation, graphics, spreadsheets and presentations in support of the Government customer. This individual will work with the team and Government Senior Leadership as the CDAD team's primary technical content contributor in support of T1 and its subordinate organizations. In addition to technical content, this individual will be responsible for assisting the graphics team in the interpretation and storyboarding of architectural concepts and scenarios. Furthermore, this individual will be responsible for assigning tasks to the other team members as well as monitoring and reporting status of tasks to the Government customer.
This individual must be capable of working in a fast paced, agile environment, where priorities and requirements change daily; SIGINT and TURBULENCE experience desired. Required Skills & Experience: * TS/SCI with Polygraph * Minimum two years of engineering experience in computer networking, computer/electrical engineering, or cyber systems engineering. * Or, minimum five years of technical writing experience preparing technical documents, reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences including senior management. * Experience in effectively formatting/editing technical publications to include writing, editing and illustration. * In-depth experience with word processing, presentation, and spread sheet software is required. * Solid communications and team leadership skills. * Fluent in PowerPoint and MS Word. * Experience with Adobe Creative Suite desired.
