Title: U77-Technician 2 Location: NC: NORTH CAROLINA-FORT BRAGG CBA Technician II - Flight Simulation Base (Flt Sim Base) - for the WarFighter FOCUS (WFF) Contract at Ft. Bragg, NC
CSC a globally, independent company, is seeking a CBA Technician II, for the Flt Sim Base program, to provide support to the WFF contract at our site at Ft. Bragg, NC. This is a union job site and is subject to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. In this capacity, candidate has the ability to troubleshoot assemblies, subassemblies and circuit boards to component level. Has knowledge of the numerous PC operating systems and networks. Has knowledge of control loading and hydraulic systems. Has knowledge of AST linkage. Has the ability to learn MAXIMO 6. Has knowledge of UH60 (Blackhawk) instrumentation, preflight, and flight operations. Makes work orders and records all maintenance actions. Researches and orders replaceable parts and components. Applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence, and in selecting tools, and testing instruments, and is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. This technician works under immediate supervision and achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician. May provide technical guidance to lower level technicians. Associate's Degree in Electronic Technology (or equivalent) from an accredited college or universityorrelated military trainingorthree years minimum work experience in a related discipline. Three years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in computer systems / network or training device maintenance. Two years experience with Microsoft office software operation and use. Candidate must possess good written composition and verbal communications skills, able to express facts and rationale. Has knowledge of OSHA safety standards. Able to bend, crawl, and lift 50lbs. Applicant is able to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus and able to identify and distinguish colors. Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a security clearance if required.
