Infrastructure Outsourcing (IO) is the ongoing management and/or improvement of activities related to a part or to the whole of a technical infrastructure (e.g. information systems, security systems, telecommunications networks), allowing companies to focus on their core business and competencies. The ideal candidate must be willing to go through extensive background checks to secure proper security clearance. This individual must be willing to go through extensive background checks in order to secure proper clearances. Our IO resources can expect to: Incorporate skills which support the programming, management and maintenance services required to implement and support new installations or maintain and improve existing legacy systems for our clients. Receive ongoing training to build and extend professional, technical and management skills in all areas Enjoy our comprehensive and generous benefits package This positon is a technical hands-on Unix System Administrator in run/operations. The position will work on all shared clients and participate in on-call rotation. Knowledge of Linux, HP-UX and other Unix platforms will be helpful in this position. The Unix System Administrator will be operating within a defined operating model and processes. This will allow the individual to provide ongoing (remote/onsite) technical support & maintenance of production and development systems and configured services running on various platforms. They will also provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the Operating System level - across all server and network areas/vendor. The background of this individual can be focused on Hardware/Software, networks, security or server and in any particular vendor /brand e.g. MS Windows, Cisco, Solaris, HP-UX. Troubleshooting will be another key aspect of this role. !*! Basic Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year Unix System Administration experience US citizen Preferred Skill Requirements: 1 year experience working with Linux or HP-UX 1 year experience working with VMWare Microsoft certification VMWare certification Prior experience working on an enterprise level operations team Bachelors degree in a technical area Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
