Cisco's Cloud Portal software team is looking for a senior software developer to design and build solutions for new generation Cloud Portal for virtual data center.
The successful candidate will design and develop the User Interface next generation of Cisco's cloud portal for public/private cloud. We are looking for a strong web UI architect with Sound understanding of Web based UI development, with expert level understanding of JavaScript, HTML and CSS, Web 2.0 methodologies and deep understanding of how browsers work, as well as, experience developing for multiple browsers.
Cisco Cloud Portal is a growing platform with lot of focus on enabling features to support cloud delivery models. There is lots of room to learn, grow and contribute in all areas including user interface/experience; building rich cloud management portal and integration with portal framework technologies.
Responsibilities:
Deliver user friendly, highly usable features for managing datacenter virtualization in a high performance Enterprise scale cloud portal platform ? . Design, develop, unit test and deliver user experience features ?. Develop and deliver a top notch Portal using DHTML, JavaScript, XHTML, AJAX, Extjs etc. . Work as part of a high performance team in a fast paced, high visibility environment on a Cisco Top 3 initiative . Collaborate with other teams across locations, mainly India development center in Bangalore.
Technical Skills: . JavaScript, AJAX, HTML , CSS and other Web Rich Internet Applications technologies ? . Internet Explorer, FireFox, Chrome, Safari ? . Web Services - REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, XSL? . Struts, Spring, Servlets, JSPs ? . Portlets, JSR168, JSR 286

. Excellent writing, speaking, presentation and coding (for readable software) skills. . Develop specification based on marketing, internal requirements, technical trends, and architectural vision. .
