Position Description The role will have reponsibility for the daily execution of controls over the amount of product shipped against special prices. It will involve understanding the Lenovo Bid Process and the ability to apply risk based testing and identify trends and out of line situations. This person will be in daily communication with our Profit Managers and Sales Operations team, and also have regular interlocks with Finance. The role will be within our business controls team withing the Business Partner Disbursements department.
Besides the BID verification analysis work, the candidate will be part of new project team within the Customer Support Organization responsible for developing and implementing new tools for our existing processes that will bring process improvements within CSO. The project team's responsibility will also be gathering VOC (VOICE of the Customer) from Subject Matter Experts from various departments evaluate and prioritize these setting up a project plan for development and implementation, map current business process and come up with ideas on how to improve those with the help of new tools. It will involve constant interaction and communication with key stakeholders from different ition Requirements Education . Degree or Equivalent Business experience Experience . Familiarity with the operations of a large international company, preferably with some Finance experience. . A knowledge of the PC market place and its operations will be beneficial but not essential Computer skills . Ability to work with various software packages (e.g. MS Office, Lotus Notes) . SAP knowledge advantageous, but not mandatory . Ability on database tools and data manipulation Languages . Fluent Business English (oral and written) Competencies . Proven track record of delivering results in metrics-driven operational environment . Proven ability to operate independently . Ability to build strong working relationships across functional boundaries . Able to integrate into a diverse team environment . Strong problem solving skills
Desired Skills: - Advanced knowledge of Web Design PHP (Java, ASP / , HTML) with a proven track record of implemented applications. - Advanced MS ACCESS and/or MySQL knowledge in Queries, Scripting and Database Design. - Advanced VBA knowledge, ability to develop user defined function and automate business processes. - Superior MS OFFICE knowledge mainly Excell with the ability to create advanced excel Macros.
Beneficial Skills: - Experience in working with ERP systems e.g. Oracle Financials or SAP. - Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse knowledge. Has experience in creating reports with Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Hyperion as well as data mining and data analysis from various data sources.
