Web Application Developer
The UCP technology team is seeking to hire a Web Application Developer to facilitate the development of business process applications. This role will work with a small team to automate the deployment and maintenance of existing web-based applications as well as develop and integrate custom plugins and applications to support UCP's workflow. Candidates should have experience or proficiency with one or more of the tools in each of the following categories: Interpreted Web Scripting Language: PHP, Python, Ruby Javascript Framework: Jquery, MooTools, Dojo Application Database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite Candidates must possess basic Unix/Linux CLI system administration skills and an interest in working in teams using agile management/development methodologies. The ideal candidate will be proficient in LAMP PHP development with interest in Python and Ruby and will have some experience with aweb development framework such as Symfony, Rails, Django or similar . A recent undergraduate degree in computer science or engineering and strong communication skills are highly desired.
