The Web Designer's role is to contribute to the content development and execution of marketing efforts applied to online media, and to provide graphical or conceptual materials for various marketing initiatives and campaigns for the company's consumer-facing online publications. The Web Designer must be highly creative and motivated to produce excellent graphic and interaction design for positive web experiences. Must be committed to adherence of established graphical style standards while contributing original and fresh ideas. Must be able to collaborate with a creative team and take or dispense art direction. Required 6+ years demonstrated experience working with and designing for ecommerce web sites.
Design and develop content for web pages, web applications, banners and interactive elements
Interaction Design aligned with Usability best practices
Author and edit content and recommend creative or conceptual recommendations
Work closely with creative leads, content editors, usability engineers, analysts, developers, project managers and stakeholders
Able to meet deadlines, give and take art direction and follow graphical standards
Support multiple enterprise websites and cross-channel initiatives
BA/BS in Communication Art, Graphic Design or Multimedia
6+ years demonstrated web and interaction design experience (must provide onlineexamples)
