Web Designer/Developer
Zen Entertainment is looking for a full-time, on-site, Web Designer to join an innovative and creative design and development team, to support development of B2B and B2C focused products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design web pages, emails, advertisements, print materials, and UI graphics
Maintain all current and upcoming web sites
Interact, on a professional level, with all levels of internal and external customers
Be flexible with hours when requested and dedicate additional time when required
Self-manage multiple projects in a fast-moving environment
Estimate project delivery and meet deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong understanding of design principles and user-interaction best-practices
Web design and development experience, including HTML (code level and WYSIWYG editors), CSS, and image optimization
Strong understanding of SEO best-practices
Strong understanding of web browser limitations
Must be organized, self-starting and precise, producing accurate work with minimal need for oversight and supervision
Ability to work under stringent deadlines and meet frequent short timeline goals
Organization and multi-tasking skills, sufficient to prioritize and perform multiple projects at various stages of completion
Must be able to reliably follow instructions delivered, both verbal and written
Strong oral and written English communication skills
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE
1-2 years, or more, of experience with a web design or development position
Any combination of experience and training that demonstrates possession of specific job skills, with a demonstrable portfolio of prior website design
BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS (BUT NOT REQUIRED)
Experience with analytics, such as Google or SiteCatalyst
Experience producing design documents and project plans for websites
