Web Designer/Developer
One of Paladin’s long-standing Fortune 200 clients has an immediate need for a long-term, contract Web Designer/Front-End Developer to work on-site in the northwest suburbs.

Start date: Immediate (40-hour work week)
Duration of assignment: ongoing, with possibility of going perm
Location: Onsite at the client – near Hoffman Estates, IL (this position cannot be worked from home)
Rate: commensurate with experience
Job Responsibilities:
Web Designer will create large corporate websites, microsites, banner ads and HTML emails for our client, and partner with internal creative teams to oversee production across entire project lifecycle
Experience working with content management systems preferred
This individual will be responsible for working independently and on occasion, without close management and direction from Account team.
The ideal candidate must be very comfortable translating wireframes and creative planning into a cohesive and functional websites.
Close coordination with internal project team.
Extensive client interaction.
Some print work could also be required, including brochures, direct mail and other marketing collateral
Requirements:
Candidate Requirements:
5+ years of design experience as a principal Web Designer, working on major brands with a concentration in building corporate or association presence online
The ability to work closely with UX teams to translate wireframes into the overall website aesthetic
Expert level utilizing HTML5, CSS and Java
Experience with Flash animation
Experience developing for mobile and tablets
Client facing skills are essential
Solid experience in creating clean-lined, corporate designs that are consumer-friendly, visually appealing, and true to brand look and feel
A strong knowledge of fundamental design principles, typography, design trends and the ability to incorporate industry best practices
Portfolio demonstrating the above
