Web Operations Manager - Digital Commerce
As our Web Operations Manager within Digital Commerce Information Technology (DCIT), you'll lead and manage the people and activities related to on-going operations and support of our world-class e-commerce site, working closely with our application development teams to manage the delivery of business functionality and technologies that support our company's Direct-to-Consumer business. As a key member of our company's website leadership team, you'll provide operational and technical leadership for our Direct-to-Consumer platforms and technologies to ensure uninterrupted availability of our systems and technologies through proactive management of our production environments. You'll proactively manage site issues through effective prioritization and tracking of customer tickets and work directly with key technologies and suppliers as necessary to maintain on-going operations. You'll provide assessment of operational effectiveness and efficiency through targeted reporting of key operational metrics. In addition, you'll also design, implement and monitor processes and procedures required to support 24x7 site operations.
Requirements for the position include:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field
2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree
5 years' experience in a specific technical discipline
3 years' experience managing 24 x 7 global operations and production support activities
3 years' experience managing as a direct supervisor, including conducting performance reviews and human resource planning
Strong understanding of internet based applications and the support of a global internet delivery platform
Experience with relational database technology, networking, environment management and system deployment activities
Proven ability to provide clear priority guidance in a highly dynamic and reactive environment, as well as direct, coach and mentor the following roles, Site Operations, Production Support, Configuration and Deployment Management
Proven ability to leverage resources to effectively translate business objectives into strategic business plans, build effective teams, and manage through other managers
Experience working with department level budgets
Experience working in shared service environment
Experience working with external labor vendors
Strong track record of delivering results to the business
Ability to form strong partnerships with the business to achieve business results
Collaborative, inclusive style with strong communication skills
