Tekniq has an immediate opening for a web software developer.

Tekniq works in an open, team-oriented environment on College Boulevard in Overland Park. We produce web-oriented software for our clients, which are mostly Kansas City businesses. You will have an opportunity to work in different capacities on different projects, and learn new technologies as we innovate with each new product.

Requirements:
Candidates will have:
Experience and proficiency with one or more of: PHP, Ruby, Python, Java, or .NET
Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Proficiency interacting with SQL databases
Proficiency with object-oriented development
Ability to work in team atmosphere and share best practices with team
Ability to communicate clearly with team and clients
Ideal candidates also have:
Experience with version control systems such as GIT or Subversion
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery or MooTools
Experience working in a collaborative team environment
Experience developing for Drupal, Joomla!, WordPress or other CMS systems
