A member of our Technical Services Division, located in Suffolk, VA, has an opportunity for a
Website Designer/Analyst 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. Designs, configures and maintains the website for company's internal and external communications. Insures the website is available to the desired audience with appropriate links and security. Develops, assesses and communicates website usage and security policies and procedures. Designs web page layout, graphics, color schemes and infrastructure to maintain a cohesive website based on the organizations communications strategies and goals. Researches and evaluates new related technologies. Actively contribute to the development of an enterprise content management framework that addresses technologies, methods and tools used to capture, manage, store, preserve, and deliver content and documents.
Basic Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• Excellent and well founded, written and oral communication skills are absolutely essential
• Requires the ability to handle multiple diverse tasks simultaneously while paying the utmost attention to details
• B.S./ B.A. from an accredited institution with two (2) years directly related job experience required. Six (6) yrs relevant job experience w/o degree
• Must have experience or familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint Server or similar capability, as well as familiarity with JavaScript and SQL scripting.
• Must have the capability to rapidly learn existing systems/applications to include content management systems, exercise networks, production/development servers and personnel database
• Must have knowledge and hands-on experience with information management and knowledge management concepts and approaches in a Joint military environment, Service, or large multifaceted organization
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current and active U.S. Secret level security clearance to be selected. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
• Familiarity with ""Documentum"" and ""Livelink"" is a plus.
• Experience with MOSS 2010 preferred, but not required.
• Experience with SAP R/3 (Application and Configuration), FrontPage, Captivate, Adobe Dreamweaver CS3, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustratoris highly desirable.
