    Job #2690236469

  • Description

    ADAS Feature Software Calibration Engineer

These engineers will perform ADAS feature tuning and calibration. They will spend 60-80% of their time in the vehicles observing the features and performing tuning and calibration to optimize the performance of the features. Features they work on will include adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane change, etc. They will utilize various tools and instrumentation to gather data while an operator drives the car. The engineers will focus on certain requirements of the feature to observe and collect data on to then make tuning/calibrations to allow the software to perform optimally.

Once the data is collected, engineers will perform some analysis on the data and make their recommendations for software improvements. The main interfaces of the ADAS system include brakes, steering, powertrain, cluster/HMI.

Most of the work will be performed locally, there may be some travel in the future. Test trips would last 2-4 days.

Engineers will be trained on the features, tools and data loggers.
