    About the Team:

    The ADMS Solutions Consultant configures and implements Oracle Energy and Water Network Management Systems.

    We work with Electric Utilities to help them implement a solution that meets their OMS and ADMS needs. We craft, configure, and deploy the NMS solution. This includes the core application, along with any adapters/interfaces customers may need. Team members are technical leads in their areas of expertise, but we also collaborate as a team. This position is for an experienced Power System Engineer who will join the NMS Delivery Consulting team. The Power Systems Engineer will need to have a background in electrical/power engineering, knowledge of power engineering applications, and an understanding of Real-Time Distribution Operations. This is a full time remote role that does require some travel.

    Responsibilities

    What you will do:

    • Assist customers in resolving business needs and, where appropriate, promote products and services.

    • Work with the project manager to develop a budget for the external design effort.

    • High-level estimation of effort for design, development, and testing of design solutions (ball-parking).

    • Detailed estimation of effort for development and testing of design solutions.

    • Analysis of business requirements.

    • Understands and documents business processes.

    • Records and publishes detailed minutes of discovery sessions.

    • Translate Customer ADMS requirements into technical solutions.

    • Provide ADMS training to the Customers and act as an SME for ADMS solutions

    • Develops and recommends solutions and strategies, based on the analysis of customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing systems infrastructure.

    • Configuration and testing of the client-specific ADMS.

    • System Integration and performance/scalability testing.

    • Work leadership in resolving problems and work assignments.

    • Viewed by customers as a consultant and performance is typically measured by delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours.

    • Customer problem solving

    • Identifies changes in scope expansion and handles customer expectations of scope.

    • Lead the external design and provide support throughout the development and system test phases.

    • Perform system test planning and execution as required on a project, Solving, and bug fixing.

    • Provide onsite assistance during application rollout during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), System Acceptance Testing (SAT), and Go-Live.

    • Identifies additional product/service opportunities in customer organization.

    What you've done:

    • 5+ years of Electrical Engineering background with experience in Power Systems

    • 2+ years of radial and meshed Distribution Networks and engineering data models experience

    • Prior experience working on SCADA and Advanced Distribution Management applications preferred

    • Experience with advanced engineering concepts like Optimization, and DER-grid integration

    • Understanding of basic power flow, state estimation, and distribution network protection concepts

    • Familiarity with programming languages like C, C++, Java, and Python

    US: Hiring Range: from $88,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

    Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
