    GBS Finance Services

    This is a full-time, exempt level position.

    Position Summary:

    Analysts at ADM have proven ability to think and work independently. They possess the ability to identify problems or opportunities for improvement and regularly propose solutions to problems. Analysts are expected to independently manage projects of increasing complexity and have a strong understanding of accounting systems and processes. They must demonstrate a high level of self-confidence in dealing with management at various levels and various administrative, commercial, and operations areas, as applicable. They should be considered an expert in assigned areas and have demonstrated ability to see projects through to completion. Analysts have no direct supervisory responsibilities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Proactively drives continuous improvement striving to reach world class standards within GBS processes globally

    • Works with GBS towers to identify CI opportunities and implement

    • Drives efficiencies and simplification in the processes, while coordinating middle sized projects and implement identified process improvements:

    • Ensures implemented solution is in compliance with ADM policies and procedures

    • Communicates implemented solutions

    • Effectively partners with S2P, CMS, P2C, MDM and R2R teams to accomplish tasks and projects

    • Performs in-depth root cause analysis for P1/P2 type of issues to get to the bottom of issues

    • Works and provides assistance to various GBS towers to find and implement permanent preventive measures for problems identified

    • Monitors if preventive measures have been implemented

    • Conducts post-implementation effectiveness checks

    • Identifies repetitive issues, bundling them into problems & working with operational teams to address

    Required Skills:

    • GBS Process Experience & Understanding

    • LEAN/SIX-SIGMA, Continuous Improvement Experience and Mindset (LEAN Green Belt preferred)

    • Problem solving skills with proactive and pragmatic approach

    • Ability to identify root cause of process issues

    • Ability to shape solutions and process improvements

    • Analytical skills

    • Organizational skills

    • Customer service mindset

    • Ability to communicate effectively

    • Fluency in English

    • Desire to learn all the time

    • Positive, 'can do', hands on attitude

    Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting

    Experience:

    • 3+ years of accounting experience

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio

    • Experience in Continuous improvement

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to safely and successful perform the essential job functions consistent with qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards

    • Standard office safety regulations
