  • Job Description:

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide first and second-level support for all desktop, software, and hardware issues within the organization.

    • Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, Windows/Mac/ operating systems, office software, email, and other applications.

    • Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, email, and peripheral equipment problems; make repairs and corrections where required.

    • Act as a liaison between users and higher-level support teams, ensuring effective communication and quick resolution of issues.

    • Conduct hardware and software inventory database maintenance and reporting.

    • Assist with the setup of new employees, including desktop configuration, software installation, and email account creation.

    • Ensure security and privacy protocols are followed to protect systems and data.

    • Provide training and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.

    • Stay current with the latest technologies and best practices in IT support.

    Requirements:

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

    • 1-3 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.

    • Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.

    • Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other common desktop applications.

    • Knowledge of network connectivity, VPNs, and security practices.

    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

    • This position has an onsite requirement, 5 days per week.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to explain technical details to non-technical staff.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.

    • A commitment to delivering high-quality support and continuous improvement.

    • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
