  • Job Description

    Establish and maintain Drafting and Production Standards and processes in accordance with National Architectural Services direction.

    Train internal and 3rd party personnel on all CAD and Drafting standards and processes.

    Travel as required for field visits and other off-site events.

    Maintain accurate digital and paper document file storage and archives.

    Asset management.

    Maintain CAD systems and software.

    Install and setup CAD software on all Architectural Staff workstations.

    Administration of cloud access for internal and external users and folder structure for file sharing, including KOVA, BWP, Bluebeam Studio, Etc.

    Coordinate access to documents for legal team requests.

    Close coordination with National Architectural Services and Information Systems for software deployment

    Major coordination with drafting resources

    Communicates assigned project schedules monthly with Zone Production manager.

    Mentors Architectural Drafting Team members as they join the PulteGroup.

    Leads all Architectural Department CAD Meetings and trainings on a monthly, every other month, or quarterly basis as needed.

    Skills and Requirements

    3-5 years Min. experience in a CAD Manager Role supporting AutoCAD users, Residential Architecture preferred.

    Knowledge of drafting standards development and understanding of BIM concepts.

    In depth level of knowledge in AutoCAD software including dynamic block creation, template creation, LISP programming, object display and style management, and user setup as well as ongoing maintenance and trouble shooting.

    Software Skills AutoCAD Architecture, Bluebeam, Word, Excel. BIM software and Photoshop is a plus. null
