We are currently seeking an AWS architect to be a dynamic lead to govern these environments while providing expertise in networking, AWS Organizations, cloud security, multi-cloud environments, and automation using Terraform.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Design, deploy, and maintain AWS networking infrastructure, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, and security groups.

    • Implement and manage AWS Organizations to streamline account management and governance across multiple AWS accounts.

    • Develop and enforce cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and monitoring.

    • Design and implement multi-cloud architectures, ensuring seamless integration and interoperability between AWS and other cloud platforms.

    • Utilize Terraform to automate the provisioning and configuration of AWS resources, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

    • Create and maintain cloud formation templates for infrastructure as code, enabling consistent and repeatable deployments.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and provide excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in AWS services, networking, and cloud security.

    • Assist with CMMC compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to security controls and requirements.

    • Familiarity with Azure, GCP, or ServiceNow is a plus, as it may involve working with multi-cloud or hybrid environments.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Must be a US Citizen

    • Bachelor's degree and 7 or more years of related experience. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

    • Must be comfortable with architecting AWS infrastructure and developing the standards for use across the enterprise. Must be able to weigh design decisions and evaluate pros and cons against a set of core requirements.

    • Proven experience as an AWS Engineer, with a focus on networking, AWS Organizations, cloud security, and automation using Terraform.

    • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.

    • Experience with network design and implementation, including VPNs, subnets, and routing.

    • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and industry standards.

    • Proficiency in automation and infrastructure as code using Terraform.

    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or equivalent are preferred.

    • Experience with CMMC compliance, Azure, GCP, or ServiceNow is a plus.

    • Experience serving as a Team Lead

    Physical Requirements

    • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

    • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

    • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

    • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

    • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

    The projected compensation range for this position is $111,400-$185,700. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
