Business Analyst II

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Sr Business Analyst to join one of the largest utility companies located in Oakland, CA. This role will be a remote role with potential to go into San Ramon or Oakland office 1x per month. As an expert BA, you will be joining a new project within the IT Data & Analytics organization focusing on analytic product strategy. The project consists of multiple products built on Palantir Foundry, which provide data and consolidate to make better decisions around outages, wildfire, and safety. As an expert BA, you will part of an Agile team rolling out new standards for this project and training on these new standards as well as focusing on waste elimination. You need to be able to communicate, shift and do a variety of tasks on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities include

Standing up new standards and framework.

Creating red books, templates, driving new processes and training on the new processes.

Strategically look at reporting and focus on waste elimination around revenue and resource savings.

Change management around trends and adoptions.

Lean adoption

User requirements & reporting requirements

Utilize PowerPoint, excel, Power BI

Skills and Requirements

• Extensive reporting and training background coupled with systems analyst experience

• Ability to handle shifting and doing a variety of tasks

• Previous experience with creating templates, or new processes

• Knowledge of adoptions and trends/ change management

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Excel, PowerPoint, data analytics tools

• Agile framework, lean processes Plusses:
