Job Overview:Responsible for providing leadership, building organizational capability and driving execution of projects within the HR/Payroll business systems team. This position provides technical leadership for all HR/Payroll capabilities, ensuring a strong customer service focus, fostering and demonstrating thought leadership and innovation with stakeholders. This position will also ensure that department initiatives are well managed and delivered in a timely manner through established standards and procedures to be used in the collecting business requirements for enhancements and creating technical specifications for the Development team. Other responsibilities to include reviewing customer business needs and participation in the troubleshooting, planning, design and implementation of new or enhanced systems, process, procedures and reports.Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:+ Define short and long-term strategies for the HR/Payroll IT team to ensure effective delivery of information.+ Functional support of JD Edwards HR/Payroll modules and additional systems support (US & Canada Payroll)+ Perform standard duties such as:+ Works with internal stakeholders and SME's to fully understand requirements+ Document detailed business requirements+ Write test scripts and perform comprehensive testing+ Create instruction for end user to process programs+ Support deployment, training, and cutover activities+ Ongoing support+ Performs year-end task+ Audit systems+ Audit Interfaces+ Collaborates with HRIS Manager to ensure data integrity+ Collaborates with Payroll Manager to ensure data integrity+ Experience in the HR/Payroll applications+ World A7.3+ E1 Version 9.0 which is our current version.
