GVI Inc ., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a CAD / Drafter Lead - Senior in Chesapeake, VA to lead a team providing CAD support for United States Navy Undersea Warfare (USW) Systems technical drawing packages.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead the production and delivery of Installation Control Drawing Packages

• Lead the production and delivery of As-Built Drawing Packages

• Lead the development of Ship Installation Drawing LAR Packages using ANSI, ASME (Y14.5M), and NAVSEA (TS9090) standards and drafting requirements

• Conduct shipboard validations as required

• Oversee incorporation of red line changes into existing drawing packages utilizing AutoCAD and Adobe Pro

• Assist in development and implementation of quantitative quality metrics for departmental products

• Develop departmental standard operating procedures and training materials; assist in training junior personnel

• Provide CAD and drafting services as required in support of technical documentation development

• Proficient in AutoCAD - 2D

Position Requirements:

• Experience in utilizing Adobe Acrobat Pro for conversion of drawing products and deliverables

• Proficient with MS Office - Full Suite of Products

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of prior relevant experience

• Previous experience with NAVSEA engineering or technical documentation and drawings to include block wiring diagrams, SIDs, or ICD's

• Associates Degree or formal education in CAD discipline a plus

• Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
