Pay Rate

The pay rate for this job is $16 - $20 / Hour

What you'll be doing as a CAD Programmer / Designer:

• You will be responsible for ensuring our company produces quality parts and tools specific to engineering drawings and client standards.

• Design part and products in CAD and Inventory Management Software's.

• Building Sales Orders, Manufacturing Orders, and Custom designs.

• Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs.

• Verifying all software design documents and cut/nest programs match.

• Producing daily cut lists.

• Generate accurate bills of materials (BOMs) for production purposes.

• Build positive partnerships and working collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.

• Provide timelines to Sales Team.

• Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part.

• Ensure that results of machining process align with client expectations.

Job requirements

• Certificate or diploma in engineering is an advantage.

• 3 years' experience as a CAD Programmer and knowledge of Maestro & Fishbowl Software is a major plus!

• Ability to read and comprehend architectural drawings and technical specification required.

• Possess excellent organization and multi-tasking skills; must demonstrate ability to manage several activities at once, organize/prioritize work to meet internal and external deadlines

• Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.

• Strong comprehension and analytical abilities and the ability to communicate effectively.

• Background check required

• Good computer and mathematical skills.
