  • Job Title: Calibration Quality Test Technician 1 (CQT-1)
    Reports To: Sr. Manager of Manufacturing Engineering
    Department: Calibration Quality Test
    Division: Mega Kinetics Fluid Systems (Tualatin)

    Summary: Provide Calibration, Quality and Test support/control for the department.

    Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative
    • Contributes to the continued development of calibration quality and test department
    • Provide support throughout manufacturing, Calibration, Quality & Test departments as required
    • Provide advanced training and support to colleagues/peers
    • Easily interprets technical information from manuals to support equipment setup and calibration
    • Produces products that conform to the company documentation and quality standards
    • Prepare detailed reports as requested
    • Completion of Facility Test Matrix Documents
    • Determine the best methods and procedures for documenting processes relating to Calibration Quality and Test with the assistance of multiple mfg. departments
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and clear understanding of pneumatic schematics, piping and instrument diagrams, mechanical drawings and BOM's
    • Highly skilled with pneumatics installation and troubleshooting, Stainless Steel Tube bending, PFA Tube Bending and flaring, general mechanical troubleshooting
    • Strong Electrical aptitude
    • Easily interprets electrical schematics and symbols with a clear understanding of how to trouble shoot electrical issues that are encountered
    • Previous experience assembling and/or fabricating electrical assemblies and wiring of a vast range of electrical components/instruments
    • Working knowledge and the ability to test and troubleshoot AC power circuits and analog/digital I/O circuits
    • Experience working with HMI's and Tool interface screens for startup, calibration and troubleshooting of systems
    • Possesses the ability and experience to exercise discretion and independent judgment but is quick to escalate situations that fall outside responsibility and expertise.
    • Facilitization of equipment, Testing, troubleshooting/debug, and repair of complex system problems

    • Collaborates with manufacturing and Quality groups to ensure quality assurance and quality control are achieved with every product
    • Ensures that Quality and Cal-test requirements are met, FTM is complete, and any deviations are properly approved on assigned projects
    • Ability to participate in a team-oriented environment where you may assist adjacent departments and sections (Electrical Assembly, Mechanical Assembly, Engineering, Quality and Calibration Test)
    • Ability to interact with a diverse group of management, engineers, and technical staff whether internal or external customers
    • Excel in time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and demonstrate outstanding customer service skills
    • Prioritization of work in accordance with manufacturing needs and Manager feedback
    • Various tasks, as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent Electro-Mechanical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to read and interpret documents, engineering drawings, Schematics, P&ID's
    • Ability to perform advanced math calculations
    • Ability to read and understand testing instruments
    • Ability to use mechanical or electrical inspection tools, instruments, and devices
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
    • Able to speak effectively before groups of co-workers/employees
    • Able to support a flexible work schedule to include shift changes when needed

    Education/Experience:
    • 5+ years Electro-Mechanical troubleshooting preferred
    • 5+ years Field Service-related work preferred
    • Associates degree or equivalent technical qualification in electrical/mechanical engineering or physical sciences
    • Familiar with AX and Bluestar systems are preferred

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for the duration of the workday
