    Job Description:

    Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Chief Architect to join our team! In this role you will provide key architectural leadership in the development of the MEO Track Custody ground segment.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    • You'll be the primary interface with the Government on the MTC Ground mission objectives, architecture, and enterprise relationships

    • You'll be responsible for developing, owning, and maintaining the MTC ground segment systems architecture that successfully integrates space vehicle provider components, ground entry point access, and mission partner interfaces with O&I common ground services into the ground segment

    • Ensure the architecture is resilient and extensible to support a multi-vendor constellation of satellites and achieves MTC mission objectives within the context of the MW/MD/MT enterprise

    • You'll work across the program, Parsons, Government, and Industry to solicit, evaluate, and select technology/solutions and develops strategic plans and roadmaps to meet the MTC mission

    • You'll work with contractors and the customer Program Office (PO) to architect and design MTC Ground capabilities (constellation mission management tool, data center resources, network and communications, cybersecurity, and infrastructure services) into the Tools, Application, and Processing (TAP) Lab located in Boulder, CO

    • You'll work with system engineers on the MTC team to model the system architecture using MBSE tools such as Cameo

    What Required Skills You'll Bring:

    • Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in a Science/Engineering/Physics or Computer-related field of study and 10+ years of experience

    • A minimum of five years of experience as a key contributor in the development of High-Level System Architectures (e.g. as a Chief, Lead, or Principal Systems Architect/Engineer)

    • A minimum of ten years of experience combined across command & control, remote sensing, space systems, and missile defense domains or programs

    • A minimum of ten years of experience in research, design, development, integration, and implementation of prototype capabilities, subsystems, systems, and platforms based on system-level requirements

    • Minimum of three years of experience on programs using a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) or Digital Engineering (DE) methodology

    • Ability to lead teams comprised of members from multiple companies

    • Ability to lead Technical Interchange Meetings and Working Groups effectively

    • Experience briefing and developing content for government program milestone events and demonstration events

    What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

    • Ability to lead special studies relevant to ground systems for spaceborne assets

    • Ability to develop CONOPS and use-cases

    • Experience in Space to Ground and Ground to Ground architecture development

    • Working knowledge of Overhead Persistent InfraRed systems and architecture

    • Certifications or significant experience with DoDAF and/or UAF

    • Experience supporting of SSC, SDA, or Intelligence Community Customers

    • Knowledge of the Satellite Control Network (SCN), other antenna networks, or ground entry point systems

    • Experience developing systems architectures that include local and wide area networks; on-premises compute; cloud/hybrid compute; Kubernetes; network application; user interface applications; pub/sub or message bus interfaces; custom network protocols and message formats; and cryptographic devices

    • Accomplished mentor to inspire and develop the next generation of System Architects

    Salary Range

    $113,100.00 - $203,600.00
