Computer Technician needed in Biloxi, MS.

Project Details:

• Pay Rate : $18-20/hr

• Duration: Short-term contract

• Location : Saucier / Biloxi / D'Iberville, MS.

• Requirements : All positions require a successful completion of a background check & possible drug test (we do not check credit) - ABBTECH pays for both checks

• Certification Requirements: CompTIA A+ or equivalent

• Duties : PC Deployment

Project Details:

• Customer Name : Harrison County School District (Mississippi)

• 2078 OPTI 7010, Monitors, Keyboards, Mice

• Techs will be working in a mix of classrooms (4 units) and computer labs (bulk units)

• Move Hardware from the centralized location within each building to the Computer Lab or Classroom assigned by POC

• Unbox and Set up New Hardware

• De-install Legacy Hardware

• No power on, No domain join

• Move Legacy Hardware to the designated area within each building

• POC will provide additional instructions there will be two different staging areas depending on the age of the Legacy Equipment which will be marked with a Placard for visibility

• Trash can be moved to the roll off dumpster at each site

• Parking will be available at the schools in the parking lot

Desired Skills for Role:

Computer Technician

• Experience working as an End User Computing PC/Laptop Deployment Team

• New Computer and PC deployment

• Must have the ability to lift up-to 50lbs

• Must be able to be on your fee ALL DAY and include up to walking the entire building, walking to different buildings and up and down stairs

• Possesses intermediate to advanced level knowledge and understanding of hardware products, commercial off the shelf application and diagnostic and troubleshooting utilities

• Possesses proven customer service background

• Able to follow verbal and written instructions and update tracking systems as directed

• Possesses good analytical and communication skills

• Possesses strong ability to work independently

• Possesses High School Diploma and A+ certification or equivalent skill set
