    WSP is currently initiating a search for an Electrical Engineer to work out of a client site in the Baltimore, MD/Washington, DC area . Be involved in projects with our Federal Programs Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.

    Your Impact

    • Provide assistance in the development of projects and services with supporting engineering calculations to include rough sizing of electrical systems, generators, uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs), conduits, conductors, and other electrical components.

    • The proposed support will encompass technical electrical engineering reviews of complex multi-discipline designs and the development of Statements of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS) with supporting cost estimates annually.

    • Supporting project execution with engineering assistance for technical reviews and providing recommendation /review comments regarding contract status with schedule, and Contractor's compliance with contracts

    • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

    • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

    Who You Are

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

    • 3-5 years of relevant post education experience in an electrical engineering capacity.

    • Due to client requirements, ability to obtain a Secret level US Security clearance is required.

    • Prior experience in electrical systems for critical infrastructure.

    • Prior experience in electrical engineering studies

    • Shall be familiar with building powers systems including uninterruptible power supplies and building generators.

    • Proficient with basic office automation software packages (such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Active secret clearance

    • Experience with AutoCAD

    • EIT registration

    • Prior experience working on US government electrical engineering projects.

    Compensation

    Expected Salary (all locations): $82,400 - $125,400

    WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
