    The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

    What you'll do:

    -Drive Continuous Improvement Culture. Provide active design, leadership, and advocacy of continuous improvement culture and framework.

    -Develop & execute strategic plans for implementation of lean culture in alignment with the Eaton Lean Six Sigma System (ELSS) and Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF). Apply knowledge of lean production systems to improve manufacturing process and meet manufacturing growth requirements.

    -Direct and align the Lean Manufacturing priorities and focus to comply with business goals and objectives (Sales, OTD, CONC, productivity, safety, PPM, etc.). Drive core functional excellence in implementing EBS Operational Excellence.

    -Identify and implement lean manufacturing and six sigma initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of manufacturing operations and achieve operational excellence. Assist and support managers, supervisors, and engineers in the development of processes and procedures to improve operations, maximize output and optimize resources.

    -Lead deployment of Eaton's Lean System tools including Value Stream Mapping, 5S, TPM, Error Proofing, Standardized Work, Continuous Flow, Pull Systems, Setup Reduction, Six Sigma, and Problem Solving. Complete ongoing evaluations of the plant's lean manufacturing progress.

    -Implement effective measurement tools to monitor and measure progress. Actively plan, lead, and participate in lean projects and rapid improvement events throughout all support functions and manufacturing/assembly cells leading to significant improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, employee culture, and overall customer satisfaction.

    -Develop and maintain a process to keep the Plant Layout updated.

    -Drive the change management necessary to implement effective lean manufacturing operations. Ensure proper execution of ELSS Tools. Develop the business case for Lean Manufacturing that support the organization's goals and objectives.

    -Design, develop, justify, and guide the installation of new process improvement concepts, equipment, tooling, processes, and systems through appropriate procedures so that optimum manufacturing cost can be achieved and maintained.

    -Lead process improvement teams and support timely completion of improvement opportunities using appropriate Eaton approved continuous improvement methods. Utilize organization in implementing significant process improvements and develop plans to meet future process needs.

    -Lead efforts within the manufacturing facility to provide the necessary technical training for all manufacturing personnel in support of continuous improvement and cultural change. Assist in training and development of personnel by delegated portions of projects to others under his/her guidance as assigned, to provide optimum service to Manufacturing.

    -Create linkages within the Eaton organizational structure to promote communications, education, and sharing of best practices. Actively work other site coordinators to drive best practice sharing and both internal and external benchmarking.

    -Implements effective measurement tools associated with continuous improvement and cost out. Contributes heavily to the identification of cost-out ideas and the implementation of them.

    -Lead the Kaizen Calendar preparation and follow up and the CI Council. Lead the ELSS Self-assessment, CIF Self-assessment and OpA self-assessment.

    -Support the Manufacturing Engineering Manager with the KOF and EBS Pull process and OpA validated assessment.

    Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in engineering/industrial technology field from an accredited institution

    • Three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

    • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

    • No relocation assistance will be provided for this role. Only candidates that reside within a 50-mile radius of El Paso, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of manufacturing processes including assembly (manual and automated).

    • Knowledge in core concepts of Value Stream, Demand Flow Methodologies, 5S, Standard Work, Kaizen Techniques, Visual shop floor concepts, Visual Management Techniques, Measurement Systems of Inputs and Outputs.

    • Demonstrated history of successfully leading and facilitating changes that involve all levels of employees with measurable results.

    • Demonstrated experience in AutoCAD use for manufacturing layouts.

    • Strong knowledge in lean manufacturing

    • Fully Bilingual: written and oral fluency in Spanish & English.

    • Excellent Leadership qualities, ability to communicate to all levels of the organization; manage, consult, gain buy-in, and make key decisions based on employee welfare, legal requirements, and business objectives.

    This role will be responsible for the CI Framework implemented in PCD El Paso, TX EATON Plant.

    After completing the project, this role will be part of the operations of the plant.
