    Are you looking to use your continuous improvement experience and knowledge to help our lead continuous improvement strategy at the New Port Richey, FL manufacturing plant?

    The Continuous Improvement Leader (Danaher Business System Leader) is responsible for promoting and facilitating continuous improvement through the successful implementation of the Danaher Business System. The CI Leader will support the Plant Manager in the implementation of DBS Fundamentals and Lean methodologies at Gemba to drive improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

    This position is an integral part of the Operations team and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL.

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Develop the sites DBS Strategy and Vision while serving as a change facilitator, developing and collaboration with other site DBSLs, and operation leadership in the transformation and support of a continuous improvement culture.

    • Facilitate and conduct kaizens and bootcamps in DBS Fundamentals and DBS Lean tools.

    • Work in cross-functional teams and matrix environments across multiple organizations.

    • Work and influence all levels of the organization from Senior Leaders, Functional Leaders, Project Managers, and practitioners including effective coaching and mentoring skills.

    • Facilitate the Kaizen Funnel process to advance the organization's Continuous Improvement efforts and measure sustainment.

    • Facilitate Problem Solving efforts across the organization to define root cause, temporary and permanent countermeasures.

    • Facilitate DBS muscle growth by instilling an organization of Certified Practitioners in DBS and driving with organization partner's Lean Conversion across the operations.

    The essential requirements of the job include:

    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Science or Engineering related subject areas.

    • Prefer 10+ years of business/operations management or manufacturing experience with management responsibilities.

    • Prefer 5+ years of mastery of an array of Lean Tools and DBS Fundamentals.

    • Hands-on Gemba experience with driving kaizen facilitation and leadership using DBS and lean tools. (Visual Daily Management, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Dynamic Kanban, Lean Conversion, Standard Work, 5S, TPM, SMED, etc.)

    • Managerial experience in areas supporting Manufacturing, Materials Planning, Supply Chain, Process Engineering.

    • Analytical Skills; working with large data sets.

    • Strong interpersonal and communications as well as group facilitation skills, including public speaking and moderating.
