Job Title: Contract Systems Administrator

Location: Oak Brook, IL

We are looking for a skilled Contract Systems Administrator to support our client's IT infrastructure in Oak Brook, IL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration, with proficiency in Windows Server environments, server patching, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Perform regular server patching and updates to keep systems secure and up to date.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Assist with the implementation and maintenance of cloud services, with a focus on AWS or Azure.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.

• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration.

• Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments.

• Experience with server patching and update management.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
