Controls Engineer

Hiring for a Tier One Automotive Supplier seeking an experienced Controls Engineer.

Duties

• Ensure assembly and test equipment/lines are running, troubleshooting issues as they arise

• Updating electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings, and PLC/HMI programs

• Machine Vision System support and troubleshooting

• Integration and debugging of new systems and equipment

• Assist Maintenance personnel on an 'as needed' basis

• Identify problems and come up with cost effective solutions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Controls Engineer

• 3+ years experience specifically within Mitsubishi PLCs ( GX-Works or GX-Developer)

• Strong Mitsubishi PLC troubleshooting abilities, programming abilities preferred

• Machine Vision troubleshooting and integration

• Strong CPU skills

• Completed Bachelors Degree (Engineering discipline) OR 5+ years work experience relevant to the role
