Controls Engineer

Pay: $65,000-$80,000 (Direct Hire)

Shift: 1st Shift

Location: Buffalo, NY

Description

Conceptualize, engineer, specify, and commission control systems

Design of electrical schematics and other project documents using AutoCAD, Excel, and Word.

Onsite and remote PLC programming. 1,000 lines of code at one time. College grad is not expected to know how to do this but give them an idea of the size of projects

Deliver training to end user customers.

Provide direct technical support to customers and colleagues in the field. Ensure customer satisfaction at all times is a priority.

Efficiently manage multiple active projects at varying stages of progress.

Development of quotes for new sales and service opportunities.

Up to 30% travel to customer sites, both domestic and internationally.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience in schematic design using AutoCAD. AutoCAD Electrical preferred.

An internship in industrial controls or PLC programming or Robotics

Great with communication, through teams and the phone

An owner of the projects they are assigned to

Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
