  • Description

    This person is the liaison between the controls engineering group and shop floor. Will be a new position to the team that is focused on working on advanced electrical systems for execution and troubleshooting (800 series panels, HMI/PLC, VDF, and smart relay, etc.). This role performs all steps in the build and verification process for control panels, wiring, PLC program installation, sensor set up, troubleshooting, calibration and overall system testing and verification.

    Majority of this person's time will be on the floor, hands on with equipment. Will have a desk space and laptop to plug into the control systems. During down time, this person will be assigned specialized projects for continuous improvement of control systems.

    Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 10 hour days, open on start time being 5, 6 or 7am. Fridays are OT days, hardly ever mandated but option as needed. Half an hour lunch and two paid breaks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    PLUS

    • A.S. OR B.S. Level degree in electromechanical systems, electrical engineering, factory automation or similar

    • Experience with selecting electrical components

    • PLC programming
