  • Job Description

    An employer is looking for a Data Center/Site Technician in the Richardson, Texas area. This person will be supporting the Regional Manager with any site operations as well as helping out with data center responsibilities.

    -The candidate must have a general understanding of the facility support systems (Power, HVAC, Fire detection/Suppression, security)

    -Create and manage Change, Case, Incident and Remote Hands tickets when necessary for both 365 DC infrastructure and customer environments

    -Facility visitor processing by using established sign in/out procedures and tools

    -Work on special projects as assigned by Site Director & Regional VP (generate and review Revenue Assurance reports for accuracy and compare month to month trend, create procedures and documentation)

    -Order supplies for the Data Center (office, cleaning, break room supplies and materials needed for maintenance and customer installations)

    Skills and Requirements

    -2-3 years of experience working in a Data Center

    -Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

    -Ability to work with vendors to request and process quotes, schedule maintenance, and resolve any Accounts Payable issues

    -Must be able to perform work on the data center floor to help out the techs as needed

    -Must be able to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders null
